Good places in Malmö
ØresundsbronWhen in Malmö, take time to visit the fantastic Öresund bridge which connects Malmö and Copenhagen. It's definitely a "must"! Two cities, two countries, you have the best at your feet! Why not make a "Two Nation Vacation". It only takes about 30 minutes to get over the bridge by car, and in the meantime you will enjoy a magnificent view!
The bridge is one of the biggest constructions in Europe. |
Västra Hamnen (The Western Harbour)The Western Harbour is a new - and very chic - district of Malmö, situated by the sea, and build on the former port and industrial land.
First it was the place where Bo01 - a huge housing exhibition - took place in 2001. Soon its silhouette changed distinctively when a masterpiece of modern architecture – Turning Torso was built. Designed by Santiago Calatrava and being both an art piece and apartment block, this 190 metres high tower became the new landmark of Malmö. |
